Washington Huskies win Apple Cup Challenge

In a classic battle of the Purple and Gold versus the Crimson and Gray, U.W. Husky fans made the most donations to the Monroe Public Schools Foundation and earned the right to have their flag flown above Lakeside Industries in the month leading up to the Apple Cup football game.
The true winners are the students of the Monroe School District. All proceeds made from the challenge benefit the Monroe Public Schools Foundation. The foundation works to provide help for students who could be heading to college, or benefiting from foundation-funded new and innovative educational tools. Whatever their path, this challenge has generated money to help fund new and exciting projects for students.
Until next year, congratulations Huskies!
