The Windermere Foundation donated $2,500 to Take the Next Step at Windermere Monroe's weekly sales meeting on April 25
Windermere Foundation representative and broker Bronn Journey and Kristine Nicholls, office branch manager, presented the unexpected donation to Take the Next Step Director Janos Kendal.
Thanks to the the donation from the Windermere Foundation, Take the Next Step's Board of Directors Chair, Donna Olson, stated that they will now be able to run their Kidz Club program this summer. The program enables 50 to 60 low income children to eat healthy meals, develop academic and life skills, and enjoy field trips.
The Windermere Foundation raised over 1.3 million dollars in 2012, from agent contributions at the closing of every home sale and various fundraisers. The Foundation reaches out to help with housing for the homeless and families with children in need. The "Next StepGÇ¥ is just one of the many organizations benefitting from Windermere's collective efforts.
