Washington State University's Snohomish County Extension invites anyone interested in learning about livestock production and the challenges that come with it in Western Washington to attend the first in a new series of quarterly events, Livestock Round Pen, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe.
Additionally sponsored by the fairgrounds and Snohomish Conservation District, this free event will focus on issues surrounding livestock, such as flooding, costly farmland, meeting water quality standards, feed cost and traveling to market.
