HOLIDAY FIELD ANNUAL BOARD MEETING
Holiday Field Annual Board Meeting will be held on Saturday, February 29th at 9am at the American Legion Hall- Lions Building, 123 Rainier Ave, Eatonville.

WILD CHILD WEEKENDS
Wild Child Weekends will operate from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends Feb. 1-29 at Northwest Trek. If you’re feeling cabin fever, Northwest Trek is the best place to get out the winter wiggles and Wild Child Weekends is the perfect time to get your own kids close to nature. EATONVILLE HIGH SCHOOL COLLEGE & CAREER FAIR
On Thursday, March 5th, Eatonville High School will host the 16th annual Spring College and Career Fair during the school day, from 9 to 11 a.m. The fair will contain information regarding post-secondary opportunities including admissions counselors from four-year universities, two-year community and technical colleges, and industry related programs. Employment and training opportunities will also be available. Families and the community are welcome - please check in at the main office.

YOUTH PIANO TALENT SHOWCASE
Arrow Lumber and Hardware Eatonville presents a Youth Piano Talent Showcase on Saturday, March 14, 9am-Noon. Open to Youth of all ages and talent levels. Sign up at the Eatonville Arrow Lumber today! Performances rated in 6 age groups: Preschool & Kindergarten, Grades 1-3, Grades 4-6, Grades 7-8, Grades 9-10, and Grades 11-12.
Prizes will be awarded to all performers. $25 for the Top Performer in each age group. Contest to be judged by Jim Kelsey, a Published Composer, Professional Piano Instructor and Adjudicator.
A-STEM ACADEMY CAREER DAY
Columbia Crest is seeking 20-30 presenters for our Career Fair on March 24th,2020 from 12:00 noon till 2:00pm, from all types of industries. The school is trying to cover the following career paths: health and human services, science and natural resources, career and technical education, business management/administration and fine arts (to include culinary arts, music, etc.).
Please call our office at 360-569-2567 if you would like to present to our students. Those who come to represent should be able to speak about their job role, the benefits and challenges of the job role, and the nuts and bolts of the work they do (i.e. salary, retirement, health benefits).
Here is the schedule of events for that day:
12:00-12:30 Presenters Set Up
12:30-1:00 Assembly - each visitor introduces their name a trade. During the assembly the whole school will listen to each speaker briefly speak for 2-3 minutes.
1:00-1:30 4-8th Grade asks questions and visits booths K-3 will exit the Gym with their teachers. 4-8 will stay and stop at tables to ask specific questions and see the hands-on elements up close.
1:30-2:00 K-3rd grade asks questions visits booths 4-6 will exit the Gym with their teachers. K-3 will enter the Gym to visit the tables with their teachers to ask specific questions and see the hands-on elements up close.
STORY TIME
The Eatonville Library offers children’s story time at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesdays. These events offer stories, art activities, rhymes, sings and fingerplays for children and caregivers.
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
Eatonville United Methodist Church will host a no-cost after-school program, called Jesus for Kids (JFK) Wednesdays from 3-5 p.m. at the church for elementary- and middle-school-aged kids. SCHOOL BACKPACKS
The Eatonville Family Agency, a nonprofit charitable organization, supports and runs the only backpack program in the Eatonville School District, which feeds around 100 children each weekend for the school year. To participate, volunteer or donate, visit the agency at the Eatonville Community Center at 305 W. Center St., in Eatonville or call 360-832-6805 for information.
CELEBRATE RECOVERY
This is a faith-based 12-Step Recovery Program. Become a guest at one of the weekly Celebrate Recovery meetings every Tuesday evening. The group offers childcare.
