The Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department is partnering with MultiCare and Mary Bridge Children's Hospital to host free drive-through flu vaccine events throughout Pierce County this fall.
In Eatonville, a vaccine drive-through will take place from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Nov. 5 at Eatonville Elementary School, 209 Lynch Creek Road East. According to the announcement, people should be prepared to wait an hour to an hour and a half to receive a shot. Everyone 6 months old or older can get a flu shot without leaving the car. People should wear a mask and short sleeves. Children younger than 3 should wear shorts. Senior vaccines are available at each event. Insured adults should bring their insurance card. Flu shots are free for children and uninsured adults. Walk-ups are welcome. For a list of other drive-through events, visit https://www.tpchd.org/healthy-people/flu/free-drive-thru-flu-vaccine.
