lizabeth Ann (Ward) Lane “Tootie” age 67 passed away on Friday, December 2nd 2016 in Phoenix, Arizona. Per Ann’s wishes, there will not be a funeral or memorial service. Ann was born on February 21st, 1950 and was the youngest of 7 children. She was born and raised in Eatonville, Washington. She was married to Patrick Lane on April 18th, 1969. She was a graduate of Eatonville High School and also worked for this same school district as a cook and eventually the head cook for over 25 years. She retired from Columbia Crest in June of 2015. Ann was a beloved member of the community and was well loved by all who knew her. She lived for her family- her siblings, cousins, children, grandchildren and great-grand children. Her well loved giggle was contagious and infectious. She is preceded in death by her parents Ned & Evelyn Ward and her brothers Eddie Ward & Grover Ward. Ann is survived by her husband Patrick Lane, children James (Tanya) Lane, Patricia (Otis) Hunter, siblings Joan Sundquist, Jean Lonn, Norman Ward, Robert Ward, grandchildren Marcus Guffey, Charlisa Guffey, Lucas Lane, Natalie Lane, Patrick Hunter, Elizabeth Hunter , great-grandchildren Maizie and Aubrie In lieu of flowers the family requests that a donation be made to a children’s charity, adopt a family in need for the holiday season in her honor or donate blood.
