Answering the college call from Oregon and Ohio

Two Eatonville High School seniors made their college education and athletics plans official by signing letters of intent. Logan Moose signed with Southern Oregon University and Emma Vuksich committed to Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio. Moose has a scholarship to compete in track and field and will be studying pre-med. He holds Eatonville's school record in the long jump. He was a second-team All-Evergreen League running back for the Cruisers' football team last fall, was awarded a Scholar Athlete Scholarship by the National Football Association in 2016, and has been a Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) Athlete of the Week. Vuksich received a scholarship for cross country at Ursuline, where she will study pre-med. Vuksich set an Eatonvile school record for girls' 5k in cross country with a time of 19:29 in 2015. She was awarded Athlete of the Year two years in a row and is a four-year varsity letterwinner in cross country and track.
