Betty Irene Kimmerly Sander, a long time resident of Alder, passed away peacefully on June 29th, 2016. Betty was born in Stony Plain, Alberta, Canada on September 14th, 1928. She moved with her family to Tacoma, Washington at age 15, then to Alder when she married Joe Sander in 1950. She is survived by four children, four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. A private family memorial was held at her daughters home.
