Bobbie Joanne McCarthy Ross

Our loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend went to live with her heavenly Father the morning of Oct. 22, 2012. Bobbie was born Jan. 18, 1948, and grew up at the base of Mt. Rainier in Eatonville, Wash., where she will be laid to rest. In the early 1970s, Bobbie made her home in Medford, Ore., where she raised her boys and began her career in real estate. Bobby was very devoted to community service and participated in many volunteer activities, including painting for "Extreme Makeover Home EditionGÇ¥ and bellringing during the holidays for the Salvation Army. As a greeter at Table Rock Fellowship, Bobbie formed lasting relationships with her brothers and sisters in Christ with whom she will one day be reunited in Heaven. Bobbie's interests included sewing crafts, traveling, and playing golf. She was also an avid participant in the Earth Angels Foundation, and had achieved the status of Lifetime Million Dollar Club member in real estate. She is survived by her parents, Clifford and Hazel McCarty, of Eatonville; sons, Jared (Charity) Ross of Bozeman, Mont. and Joel Ross of Medford; grandson Oliver Ross; granddaughters Jael and Ashley Ross; brother Bill (Cathy) McCarty of LaCenter, Wash.; nephews Clifford and Todd McCarty. The family would like to give a special "Thank YouGÇ¥ to hospice for their gentleness and attentiveness toward Bobbie and family. Also to John L Scott, Medford for their generosity and time spent preparing and delivering meals to the family and for the visits that brought joy and comfort to Bobbie. A memorial service was held Saturday, Oct. 27 at Table Rock Fellowship. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Asante Hospice, 2960 Doctors Park Dr., Medford, OR 975047. Arrangements are with Pearl Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held in Eatonville at a later date.
