The Blaine Borderites beat Eatonville 2-1 Oct. 30 in a loser-out, first-round match played at Blaine in the 2012 Tri-District 1A girls high school soccer tournament. A win in that match would have given the Cruisers two more chances to qualify for the state tournament with finish of sixth or better in the district playoffs.
