The Bethel Braves withstood a 21-point blitz by Emerald Ridge in the second quarter and rallied for a 28-21 victory last Friday in a South Puget Sound League 4A high school football game. Jeremiah Vasquez scored the deciding touchdown on an eight-yard run in the fourth quarter, breaking a tie and the Braves' three-game losing streak. They'll host Graham-Kapowsin this Friday. The Eagles will bring their perfect record (4-0 in the SPSL's South division, 5-0 overall) into the showdown for bragging rights in the Bethel School District.
