Mountain View found out last Friday what four other high school football teams already knew about the Bethel Braves: They're tough to beat. In fact, the Braves have been unbeatable. They improved their record this season to 5-0 with a 27-21 decision over Mountain View in a non-league game at Art Crate Field. And now comes a showdown for first place in the South Puget Sound League 4A's South division. Emerald Ridge, which pays a visit to Crate this Friday, is the only other undefeated team in the division besides Bethel. The Jaguars arrived where they area in part because of a potent offense that has scored at least 34 points in their three conference games, including last week's 42-14 throttling of Rogers.
