Daylight Saving Time and spring almost here

Daylight Saving Time starts at 2 a.m. this Sunday, so like you hear every year, set your clocks ahead one hour before going to bed Saturday night (or, for something different, set your alarm for 2 and get up to spring forward). And spring officially starts at 7:02 a.m. March 20 with the vernal equinox. What's a vernal equinox, you say? According to the Old Farmer's Almanac, an equinox occurs when days and nights are approximately equal everywhere and the sun rises and sets due east and west. At the equinoxes, Earth's tilt relative to the sun is zero, meaning Earth's axis neither points toward nor away from the sun.
