Graham-Kapowsin High returned to its customary role in the South Puget Sound League 4A South division by pummeling Curtis 49-7 Friday. The Eagles, now 1-1 in the SPSL and 3-1 overall, will face Spanaway Lake this Friday at Art Crate Field. G-K, whose league season-opening loss to Emerald Ridge in overtime two weeks ago was the first regular-season defeat in 18 games for the 2013 South division champion, bounced back in a big way against Curtis. Shannon Edwards ran for two touchdowns and Noah Harden kicked two field goals to help put the Eagles ahead 27-7 at halftime. Edwards added a third touchdown run in the third quarter.
