Graham-Kapowsin remained undefeated this season with a 38-13 victory over Mount Si, setting up a date this Saturday in the quarterfinals of the 4A tourney against Lake Stevens, another team that has yet to lose in 2015. For the second straight week, the Eagles will have the home-turf advantage at Art Crate Field, beginning at 1 p.m. in one of the biggest showdowns in the 4A ranks thus far in the 2015 campaign. Lake Stevens and G-K will square off with matching 11-0 records that represent half of the state's four unbeaten 4A teams. Gonzaga Prep and Camas are the others The winner between G-K and Lake Stevens will advance to the semifinals against the winner of the Camas-Skyline quarterfinal bout. Lake Stevens and G-K are half of the state's four undefeated teams. Gonzaga Prep and Camas, both 11-0, are the others. Lake Stevens beat Issaquah 42-32 in the first round last Friday. The Vikings are averaging 49 points per game. The Eagles, who are no slouches at scoring (38 points per outing), built a 21-0 halftime lead against Mount Si. The scores were on touchdown passes of 15 yards to Beau Blowers and 13 yards to Jeremiah Kekoa and Elan Olmos' 12-yard run. (Read more in the Nov. 18 print edition of The Dispatch).
