Emily Randolph's run on "The VoiceGÇ¥ ended last week, but the Eatonville teenager says her musical "adventureGÇ¥ will continue. Randolph, 15, lost to Brandon Chase in a "battle roundGÇ¥ of contestants in an episode of the NBC-TV talent show that was aired Oct. 22. Country music star Blake Shelton, the show's coach of both of them, chose Chase to move on in the competition after their duet of "Tiny Dancer,GÇ¥ an original Elton John song. "This is definitely not the end, just the beginning,GÇ¥ Randolph said on her Facebook page. "I'm anything but discouraged. I am so thankful for being able to work with people like Blake, and I've learned so much. Here we go. The adventure lives on.GÇ¥ Randolph was picked by Shelton to appear on "The VoiceGÇ¥ after she auditioned for it. Randolph describes her preferred singing style as "blues rock.GÇ¥ While "The VoiceGÇ¥ was her first national exposure, she has performed locally for several years, including at the Washington State Fair in Puyallup and the Pierce County Fair in Graham. She also has recorded an album in Nashville, Tenn. Another Pierce County resident competing in "The Voice,GÇ¥ Stephanie Anne Johnson of Tacoma, remained a contestant after last week's judging.
