Fire truck bringing Santa to neighborhoods

Santa Claus will start making the rounds on a South Pierce Fire and Rescue fire truck next week. Officials of the fire district said the jolly one will visit communities and neighborhoods within the district starting Monday. Also in December, children will be able to have a sit-down visit with St. Nick at two of the district's fire stations Here are the schedules for the neighborhood tours, all during the hours of 5 to 8 p.m.: " Dec. 3,-áRainbow Resort, Clear Lake north and south, Barneys Corner and Triangle Estates.-á " Dec. 4, 320th-áand Mountain Highway area, Tanwax Boulevard (off Mountain Highway), Christiansen Muck Road and-á Sunset Acres. " Dec. 5, 292nd-áand Eighth Avenue East, 286th-áand Eighth Avenue East, 280th-áand Eighth -áAvenue East, Lower Lacamas,-á Lacamas Estates and Harts Lake area.-á " Dec. 6, town of Roy, Whitewater Estates, Station 174 and Nisqually Valley Care residential area. Santa's visits with kids and families at fire stations are scheduled for Dec. 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Station 170 at 5403 340th St. in the Eatonville area, and Dec. 15 from 5 to 8 at Station 171 at 302 McNaught St. in Roy.
