First SPSL loss for Braves

Curtis thumped Bethel 49-14 in a 4A South Puget Sound League high school football game Friday, handing the Braves their first South Division loss of the season. Curtis led 21-0 before Bethel got on the scoreboard with Tristyn Gese's nine-yard touchdown pass to Zack Neigel in the second quarter. The Vikings regained the momentum for a 28-7 halftime advantage, which the Braves could answer only with another touchdown pass by Gese GÇô this time a 51-yard connection with Elijahh McLeod.
