A whopper weighing in at three pounds and eight ounces was the winner in the second annual Rainbow RV Resort fishing derby June 16 at Tanwax Lake. The prize fish caught by Robert White of Spanaway earned the top prize of a Minnkota trolling motor. The second and third-place finishers were Dan Douglas of Winlock with a three-pound six-ounce catch and Roger Sherman of Bonney Lake, who reeled in a two-pound 13-ouncer. Resort owner Dave Potter said more than 100 people entered the derby.
