The Eagles completed a one-loss campaign to date by drubbing Bethel 35-13 last Friday, reasserting their lead-dog position in the Bethel School District. They also wrapped up a second-place finish in the South Puget Sound League 4A's South division, which they won last year. Bethel, despite its fourth consecutive loss, is also headed for the playoffs as the fourth-seeded team from the SPSL South. The Braves' opponent will be undefeated Bothell. Bethel's berth in the playoffs caps a turnaround season that so far has earned a 5-4 record. The Braves were 2-7 in 2013. (Read more in the Nov. 5 print edition of The Dispatch)
