Graham-Kapowsin's Eagles built a 21-7 lead in the first quarter en route to a 49-14 victory Friday over Spanaway Lake and a triumphant end to their high school regular-season campaign and a positive launch into the post-season.
They'll carry a second-place finish in the South division of the South Puget Sound League and an 8-1 record into the playoffs.
G-K's offensive highlights against cross-district rival Spanaway Lake included Teague James running for three touchdowns and Kahlil Dawson romping for one and catching a pass from Brady Austin for another.
