Here's how and when to cast votes in the general election: " By mail. Must be postmarked by Nov. 2. " At official Pierce County elections drop boxes (open until 8 p.m. Nov. 3). In south Pierce County, they're at Barney's Corner Mini-Mart (corner of State Route 161 and Eatonville Cutoff Road near Eatonville), the Roy Y park-and-ride in Spanaway at State Route 507 and Pacific Avenue, and the South Hill and Parkland-Spanaway branches of Pierce County LIbrary System 15420 Meridian E. and 13718 Pacific Ave. S., respectively), and Roy City Hall (216 McNaught Road S.). Voters in south Pierce County are joining voters countywide in helping decide if the county should build a $230 million general-services office building, and who will serve on the 21-member Charter Review Commission that will consider possible changes in the guidelines of county government. Locally, races for Eatonville Town Council and Graham Fire and Rescue commissioner are also being decided.
