It's a pumpkin party

Jack-o-lanterns like these in the window of an Eatonville home mean one thing: Halloween is here. Decorations and costumes will be everywhere for the big day this Saturday. Halloween and harvest-themed events locally include: " Trunk and treat for the community. CenterPoint will sponsor its annual "trunk and treat" event for children and families on Oct. 31 from 1 to 4 p.m. at 351 Madison Ave. S. in Eatonville. Candy and prizes for kids and hot cocoa and coffee for parents will be provided. Additional information is available from the church office at 360-832-4253 and thecenterpoint.org. " Family fun at New Life Fellowship. The church in Graham will host a harvest party Oct. 31 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., with games, candy, a family-friendly costume contest and a fire pit among the activities.
