People can find help with the Affordable Care Act from free resources and events at branches of the Pierce County Library System, including Graham and Eatonville. In partnership with the Tacoma Pierce-County Health Department, the libraries will provide opportunities for uninsured county residents to learn about their options under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Free access to computers and information will help residents enroll in a health insurance plan that best meets their needs, officials said. The Library System will provide the service during the open enrollment for healthcare coverage, which is continuing through March 31, 2014. Members of the community may find help from staff at Pierce County Libraries are also scheduling dates when presentations and certified in-person assisters will be available to provide additional help. Scheduled informational sessions include: " Eatonville branch, 205 Center St. W., Nov. 8 from 11 a.m. to 12 pm. and 6 to 7 p.m. " Graham branch, 9202 224th St. E., Nov. 14 from 3 to 4 p.m. 3005 112th St. E. " Tacoma, WA 98446-2215 " 253-548-3300 " Parkland-Spanaway branch, 13718 Pacific Ave. S., Oct. 29, 6 to 7 p.m. and Nov. 4, 4 to 8 p.m. " South Hill branch, 15420 Meridian E., Nov. 21 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. A state-certified, in-person assister will be at the Parkland-Spanaway library branch at 13718 Pacific Ave. S. Nov. 4 from 4 to 8 p.m.
