Michael Barney, 68, of Eatonville, passed away at his home on June 10, 2016. He was born on Hamilton Air Force Base in California on May 9, 1948. He was retired from the Northwest Sheet Metal Union Local 66 and 150. He was also the retired owner of the Blue Moon Pub in Eatonville with his wife. He is survived by his wife, Candius (Hauge) Barney, of 47 years, and by brother Mark Barney of Tacoma; daughters Michelle Barney of Graham, Kimberly (James) Zilka of Eatonville; son Wake Barney of Eatonville; and 7 grandchildren GÇô Ian Mahar, Savannah Barney, Jason and Landon Zilka, Memphis Barney, and a new granddaughter, Kimber Barney in August of 2016. He was preceded in death by his father Albert Barney, and mother Virginia Barney Hoppes of Tacoma. A celebration of Michael's life will be held in the Garden Chapel at Mountain View Memorial Park and Funeral Home on Friday, July 1, at 11 a.m. All in attendance of this celebration are requested to wear your favorite Seahawks apparel.
