Nancy Bernice Dworsky passed away June 4 in her home after a courageous 45-year battle with MS. She was born to Olaf and Alma Maritvold in Tacoma on Dec. 24, 1921. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank of 61 years; brothers Norman, Raymond, Robert; granddaughter Loreen and grandson Tommy. She is survived by her daughters Dolores (Bill) Jarvis, Joan (Ron) Crocco, Janaice (Gary) McGlone; sister Sonya (Jim) Morehart; 9 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren. She was known for her "green thumbGÇ¥ and loved knitting, sewing, crocheting, ceramics, music and dancing. We want to thank all the caregivers, especially Brenna, Carol and Tracy for their patience and "TLC.GÇ¥ In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice or Home Health c/o Multicare Health Foundation, 409 S. J St., Tacoma, WA 98405. Services will be held Saturday, June 15 at 2 p.m. in the Fir Lane Memorial Chapel, with a private family burial in Orting Cemetery. Fir Lane Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
