One motorist was killed and another was injured in a collision between two cars at the intersection of State Route 702 and State Route 7 last Saturday. The State Patrol identified the fatality as Donald E. Hardesty, 37, of Tacoma. According to troopers, Hardesty was driving east on SR-702 and failed to stop for a stop sign at SR-7, resulting in a crash with a car headed south on the other highway. An Eatonville resident who was the driver of the second vehicle was taken to a hospital for medical treatment.
