Wrestlers from Bethel, Eatonville and Graham-Kapowsin will compete this weekend in the high school regional wrestling tournaments, the next step to possible berths in the state championships. Bethel won the team title in the South Puget Sound League 4A's South division tournament last Saturday. In the process, five Braves advanced as individuals to the regional meet by finishing first or second in their weight classifications. Graham-Kapowsin, which finished fifth in the SPSL tourney, had one top-two finisher who will be among the Eagles' entries in the 4A regionals. Eatonville's representatives in the class 1A regionals will include Tanner Frost at 120 pounds, Dylan Mann at 160 pounds, and Chucky Trinidad at 182. They won their weight titles in a !A sub-regional meet. Vashon captured the team championship, while Eatonville finished fifth. In girls' wrestling, the highest finish by a Bethel School District team in the SPSL regional meet last Saturday was Spanaway Lake's third place.
