Voters are giving U.S. Rep. Dave Reichert another two-year term in Congress. Reichert, a Republican, had 63 percent of the votes that were tallied from the 8th Congressional District following the close of voting Tuesday in the general election. His opponent was Jason Ritchie, a Democrat and businessman. Reichert also received 63 percent of the votes in last August's primary election that narrowed a three-candidate field to Ritchie and the incumbent. The 8th is a multi-county district. In Pierce County alone, Reichert polled 66 percent of the votes.
