The Nisqually Stream Stewards will hold a salmon carcass tossing Saturday in Eatonville, with volunteers invited throw dead salmon into Mashel River and other streams to provide a food source for juvenile salmon other species in the watershed. Volunteers can meet at Smallwood Park. The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Salmon feed on the carcasses and the insects they attract.
