Eatonville School District officials will host a public meeting Feb. 19 to update the community on efforts to keep schools and students safe. The meeting, scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Eatonville High School auditorium, will include an overview of all-hazard training from the Pierce County Department of Emergency Management, information on lockdowns from the county Sheriff Department, and an explanation of a shooter response drill that authorities and school officials are planned for June.
