Two burglars of a Graham-area home thought they were getting away with a crafty crime. Little did they know their thievery was being recorded on video. As a result, the Pierce County Sheriff Department is asking if anyone recognizes and can help identify the gun-toting men who carried out the break-in and burglary in the early evening of Nov. 23. The suspects and their car are seen clearly in images from the home's video surveillance system. Investigators give this account of the events: At 4:30 p.m., the suspects gained access to the residence on Orting-Kapowsin Highway East by following a delivery truck through a security gate. One suspect knocked on the front door of the house. After there was no answer, he took two packages that had been left on the porch by the delivery driver, and the second suspect forced a back door open, went inside and stole several items. The men then drove away. Both of the suspects appeared to be armed with a handgun. None of the home's occupants were at home. The suspects are light-skinned blacks, apparently in their 20s. One of the men had dark, bushy hair and a mustache and was wearing a black and red jacket, a plaid collared shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers. The other wore a black hoodie, a knit pom-style beanie cap, tan pants and white sneakers. Tacoma-Pierce County Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 dollars for information leading to arrests and charges in the case. Informants can call 1-800-222-TIPS.
