Roxy Theater in Eatonville was the scene of a Christmas-themed fund-raiser Dec. 5 for Senior Surprise, the annual community-organized celebration for new Eatonville High School graduates. The theater hosted a screening of "Elf," with proceeds going to the school function. As a bonus, moviegoers such as Jacob Golding (in red sweater) could pose in the lobby for pictures with Vince Geco, who was dressed in costume as the movie's main character. When the movie started, Geco, a music and computer teacher at Weyerhaeuser Elementary School, enjoyed the flick and some popcorn with the rest of the audience.
