June 17 is the deadline to submit nominations for the Ohop Grange Teacher of the Year award for 2011-2012.
Nomination forms have been available to parents and students in the schools in the Eatonville School District for several weeks. The Grange will present the award to the winning teacher at the first all-district meeting next fall.
Last year's recipient, Briston Trapp, teaches vocational skills at Eatonville High School. His students talked about how he motivated them and related to them as young adults, as well as teaching them new skills, according to an Ohop spokeswoman.
