Thank you for helping so many

By Lori Culver I want to express my heartfelt thanks to this special community for supporting the work of the Eatonville Family Agency. As my one-year anniversary on the job approaches, please know how grateful I am for the opportunity to be living and working in this fine town and how much I have appreciated your support. But, perhaps most importantly, I want to thank you on behalf of the hundreds of local families in need we serve for helping make their lives better. Over this last year, I have met so many people in need. Diverse people of all ages needing food, shelter, clothing, basic care items, baby formula, diapers, food stamps, medical insurance enrollment, domestic violence assistance, mental health referrals and so much more. The need is real and in some areas it is growing. On the other hand, the overwhelming joy of this last year has been how much good I have seen in people. People young and old who care about helping their friends and neighbors in need so that together we build a stronger community. To every single person, family, civic organization, social group, church, school and business that have contributed support and donations of any kind, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Know that your donations of food, funds, supplies, bikes and gifts will always stay in our service area, which is the Eatonville School District. Whether you need our services, wish to donate, or want to share your ideas and suggestions, my door is always open. Thank you again, Eatonville community, and may the joy of the holiday season be yours. -รก Lori Culver is the executive director of Eatonville Family Agency.
