To the mountain and back

About 700 riders tackled the 152-mile RAMROD bicycle ride mlast Thursday. The one-day ride started in Enumclaw at 5 a.m. and wound through Pierce and King counties and Mount Rainier National Park. Stops for water, snacks and bathroom breaks included the Visitor Center in Eatonville. RAMROD (Ride Around Mount Rainier in One Day) is sponsored by Redmond Cycling Club.
