Eight wrestlers from Graham-Kapowsin and 13 from Eatonville will go after a chance at state glory when they compete in high school regional tournaments this weekend. Graham-Kapowsin won the South Puget Sound League 4A South division's team title in the sub-regionals last Saturday at Curtis High in University Place. Seven Eagles captured individual weight-class championships, including Ian Steen, a defending state champion. The regionals for Graham-Kapowsin and other SPSL teams will be staged this Saturday at Auburn High, with state tournament berths for the top finishers. Eatonville finished second in the team standings at the Nisqually League sub-regional, setting the stage for its contingent that is advancing to the 1A regional meet this Saturday in Castle Rock. The top four finishers there will advance to the state tournament.
