Cruisers start fast, wallop Tyee

Fourteen runs in the first two innings got Eatonville started toward a 20-3 blowout of Tyee in a high school fastpitch game Tuesday.

The Cruisers scored six times in the opening inning and eight more runs in the second. The game was shortened from the usual seven innings to five because of the 10-run "mercy" rule.

Kylie Koszykowski helped lead Eatonville's attack with three hits and three runs batted in. She also scored three times. Teammate Brooklyn Lucht drove in five runs and had three hits, one of them a triple.
