Two free-admission days in April at state parks

Admission to Washington's state parks will be free on April 5 and April 12 in observance of spring and Earth Day.
On those dates, visitors won’t need a Discover Pass ($30 a year) or a one-day permit ($10) for day-use of parks. The fee waivers aren't valid for overnight stays.
Other free-admission days coming up this year include:
• fJune 3, National Trails Day.
• June 10, National Get Outdoors Day.
• Aug. 25, National Park Service anniversary.
• Sept. 30, National Public Lands Day.
• Nov. 11, Veterans Day.
• Nov. 24, Autumn.
