Park wants stolen utility vehicle back

A four-wheeled utility vehicle belonging to the National Park Service is still missing after being stolen a week ago at Mount Rainier National Park, and officials hope the public can help them find it.
A park spokeswoman said Friday that any information about the theft and the vehicle’s whereabouts “would be greatly appreciated.”
The 2011 Polaris Ranger UTV was stolen in the early morning hours of April 1. It has a green body and a black roof, seats six, and has a 900cc engine.
Also taken was a variety of computer and communications equipment, including a router, a power supply, network devices, and satellite equipment.
Questions or information can be directed to the park’s dispatch center at 360-569-6600.
