Eatonville piles up runs and wins

Eatonville's Cruisers rolled out a high-scoring attack most of the time in beating two opponents twice apiece and strengthening their position in the 2A South Puget Sound League high school baseball standings last week.
While hosting Renton in a doubleheader last Friday, the Cruisers methodically disposed of the Indians in game one 10-0, then went down to the last pitch before claiming a 4-3 victory in the nightcap.
Those outcomes, coupled with 21-0 and 11-1 blitzes of Steilacoom April 17 and April 18, respectively, moved Eatonville to 8-3 in the SPSL's Sound Division, with an important game against second-place River Ridge next.
