Libraries have holiday activities in droves

Pierce County Library System branches will host holiday cardmaking, cookie decorating, story times and gingerbread house crafts. The schedule for the branches in Eatonville, South Hill, Graham and Spanaway includes:
• Dec. 13, cookie decorating at the Eatonville branch from 3 to 4:30 p.m. All ages (under 6 must be accompanied by an adult).  
• Dec. 14, write and decorate a thank you card for the holidays. Hot chocolate provided. South Hill branch from 6:30 to 8 p.m. .
• Dec. 16, make and decorate a gingerbread house at the Graham branch from 10 a.m. to noon.
• Dec. 16, "Puppets Please" marionettes performance at the Parkland-Spanaway branch at 1:30 p.m.
• Dec. 20, "Puppets Please" marionettes performance at the Graham branch  at 11 a.m.
• Dec. 20, make classic paper snowflakes. Hot chocolate and light refreshments provided. Parkland-Spanaway branch from 6 to 7 p.m. All ages (under 6 must be accompanied by an adult).
