Holiday events at libraries
Pierce County Library System branches in Graham and Spanaway will host holiday events Saturday. The schedule includes:
• Dec. 16, make and decorate a gingerbread house at the Graham branch from 10 a.m. to noon.
• Dec. 16, "Puppets Please" marionettes performance at the Parkland-Spanaway branch at 1:30 p.m.
Fantasy Lights continues
Pierce County Parks and Recreation's 23rd annual Fantasy Lights at Spanaway Park continues nightly through Jan. 1.
The drive-through show of lighted holiday themes features nearly 300 displays illuminated by thousands of lights. The' hours are 5;30 to 9 p.m., including Christmas and New Year's Day. Additional information is available at 253-798-4177 and piercecountywa.org/parks.
