Jumper in football, Noel in soccer head Cruisers' All-SPSL cast

Caden Jumper, who was named the Offensive Player of the Year, leads the list of Eatonville Cruisers on the All-2A South Puget Sound League for the 2017 high school football season.
Eatonville was also well-represented on all-league teams in girls soccer, which included Most Valuable Player Hallie Noel, and the other fall-season sports of cross country, volleyball and tennis.
Jumper, a running back compiled 804 all-purpose yards of offense and scored 20 touchdowns, 17 of them running.
Six of his teammates were first-team choices – quarterback Tristan Schoepf, wide receivers Ryan Bailey and Tucker Poll, and lineman Justin Mann on offense, and linebacker Ben Johnson and back Zach Smith on defense.
Also earning league recognition were, as second-team picks, offensive lineman Trevor Parke, defensive linemen Jackson Roulst, linebacker  Josh Kondra, kicker Wade Wikander, halfback Blake Sjoblom, and defensive backs Dylan Antonson and Alex Brymer. Defensive linemen Dawsen Wilcox and Lukas Wolfe and offensive lineman Trevor Smith received honorable mention.
The Cruisers’ boys cross country team, which reached the state meet, was tapped for five first and second-team members. Sawyer Noel and Lucas Lane, who are juniors, and freshman Max Van Eaton were first-teamers. Another freshman, Cameron Hatler, and senior Nickolas Schier were second-teamers.
Isabelle Snyder, a senior who advanced to the state meet, was the Cruisers’ representative on the girls’ all-league first team. Teammate Kaja Schade, a sophomore, was named to the second team.
Noel, a freshman, made a big mark in her first season of high school girls soccer with her MVP performance. She scored 16 goals and had five assists in 13 matches.
The league also awarded Eatonville’s Skyler Simon, a junior midfielder, with a first-team spot and second-team kudos for midfielders Sierra Donaldson-Andersen and Chloe Sawyer and defenders Kaitlyn Rath and Amber Frank.
Boys tennis honors went to two Cruisers. Braden Henricksen was named to the first team, and Quade Richards was given honorable mention.
In volleyball, Eatonville junior Madison Miller received honorable mention.
