Eats and beats: It's the Mobile Food Fest

Food and music lovers can eat and move to the b eat during this year’s Mobile Food Fest at Sprinker Recreation Center in Spanaway.

Musicians and food trucks from the Puget Sound region will share their fare on Aug. 26 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the event hosted by Pierce County Parks and Recreation.

Food vendors will be selling items from their regular menus, as well as less expensive "taste" options, organizers said.

The lineup of musical performers includes North of 50 Band playing classic rock and country from  11:30 to 1:30, Cannibal Hamster (classic rock) from 2 to 3:30, and Slim Wizzy (blues, country, and classic rock) from 4 to 6.
