Efforts over the past three years of Bethel Middle School’s 24seven Green Team earned the school the Bronze-level certification by Washington Green Schools, a non-profit organization that encourages conservation and environmental sustainability. “I’m very proud of the kids,. Their hard work made this happen.," said science teacher Julie Benkovich, who leads the Green Team. BMS is the second school in the Bethel School District to achieve Washington Green Schools recognition. Elk Plain was the first.
