Eatonville Family Agency's annual Fun Run, a fund-raiser for the agency's community services, is scheduled for Oct. 7.
The run will begin at 9 a.m. at Smallwood Park in Eatonville. Registration is online at aidtheagency.weebly.com.

ABC Day at Graham-Kapowsin High
The ninth annual All Bethel Community Day – also known as ABC Day – will be held on Oct. 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Graham-Kapowsin High School. Food, entertainment, free wagon rides, Point Defiance Zoo animals, Marvel Comics’ super heroes, free bike helmets, and a dog event are planned.
Fall Fest is back
Fall Fest, an annual community event that celebrates all ages and abilities, is scheduled for Oct. 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Eatonville Middle School.
Door prizes, entertainment and contests are planned. In addition, donations of food, eye glasses, used medical equipment and wheelchairs, and clean, unused medical supplies will be accepted for the local food bank and community service groups.
Last nature walk of the year at Morse preserve
Morse Wildlife Preserve’s last Second Sunday nature walk of 2017 is scheduled for Oct. 8.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the public can explore the preserve’s habitats, forests, prairies and wetlands via foot trails and a boardwalk. The activity is free.
Pets aren’t allowed at the events, which are organized through Tahoma Audubon and are held on the second Sunday of each month from April through October.
The preserve is located in Graham at 25415 70th Ave E. It’s managed by Forterra, a conservation and land preservation organization.
