Bethel 38, Stadium 35 on late field goal

A fourth-quarter field goal snapped a 35-35 tie and gave Bethel a 38-35 victory over Stadium last Friday in a Pierce County League high school football game.
The Braves, winners for the fifth time in six tries this fall, handed Stadium its first PCL  loss of the year. Bethel, after trailing 35-21 at halftime, held the Tigers scoreless in the second half while mounting a comeback that ended with the winning kick in the game's final minute.

Next for Bethel: A home game against Mount Tahoma on Oct. 12.
