Tristan Schoepf helped make sure that Eatonville High School's annual homecoming celebration ended on a happy note last Friday.
The junior quarterback accounted for four touchdowns – two with his arm and two with his legs – as the Cruisers beat River Ridge 33-24 in a 2A South Puget Sound League football game.
It was a key victory for Eatonville. The teams entered the contest tied for second place in the SPSL's Sound Division. The Cruisers have that distinction to themselves now with a 4-1 conference record. River Ridge slipped to 3-2. Eatonville, sporting a 5-1 overall record, will host Cedarcrest this Friday in a non-league contest.
