Steilacoom hands Cruisers first loss

The Eatonville Cruisers lost for the first time under new coach Gavin Kralik, falling to Steilacoom 13-9 in a 2A South Puget Sound League high school football game last Friday.

Steilacoom assumed sole possession of first place in the Sound Division with a 3-0 league record (3-1 overall). Eatonville now shares second place with River Ridge, both with 2-1 SPSL marks. Eatonville is 3-1 overall.
The Cruisers, who still are allowing the fewest points by opponents (an average of 8 per game), will try to bounce back Thursday against winless Renton, a team that is giving up an average of 33 points per foe this season.
